Question on Kingpin Lengths

How are kingpin lengths measured? It is from the top of the bolt head to the end of the bolt or does the measurement start from underneath the bolt head?

Countersunk-type bolts (mounting hardware) -- including the head

In that case, you measure from the top of the head.. you wanna claim all the length you can.

I bought a 2" kp and some elims and supercarves for some mission ones,has anyone measured the stock kingpin? will the elim in the bottom and the cone on top work?
I have been running elim bottoms, but the cone is big in the supercarves

I would think you'd need at least a 2 1/4" to fit an Elim and a tall cone.

Most street-type trucks (Indy, etc) use 2" kingpins. If you want taller top bushings, go 2.25".
