top or bottom? Im going to assume bottom.

on the bottom you need to shim them. they dont fit on top.

They have always worked fine for me as well.

Bottom or top have the same issue. They fit in the top on mine but don't ride well there. For the bottom the bushing seat is larger than the face of the bushing so that little bit of extra space allows the hanger to travel side to side, shimmed or not. Unless my trucks are broken, which I doubt they are. I set it up with a 90a elim on the bottom. I have tried with both the flat face up and with the rounded face up. Then I have tried barrel and cone top and have had the issue. I used one thick flat washer on the bottom. What am I doing wrong? The hanger can slide around. The pivot cups are fine too.

Have you tried riding it? It will be fine. I tighten them down like normal and skate them. There is no play for me if I tighten them snugly. A top barrel or cone is going to keep it in place while you ride, its not a problem. I think they feel great as bottom bushings for paris.

LOL or I can just put a barrel and cone back on which eliminates the play. I am not talking about movement against the bushing that you can get. I'm saying they just slide around. That causes a lot of instability riding it. I have tried it and it doesn't work right. As soon as I put regular cone/barrel or barrel/barrel back on the play goes away. I know how a truck works and what acceptably play is. These just slide around.

I just put 85a elims on the bottom of my Paris 180s with flat washers and 85a venom cones on the top. I'll test it out and see how it rides. The cones look like they will hold the hangers still. It's still pretty carvy and has what seems to be more dive than the barrel with a cup washer. We'll see what happens.
