My rule of thumb for randals; less than 40 " long and less than 8.5" wide, 150's. Longer than 40" and greater than 8.5" across, 180's. Of course, there are some exceptions.
The board I'm looking at for the randals is the Sector 9 Lone Paddler...its an 8 inch wide board by 32 inches long. The nose and tail are pointy like a surf board...so would the Randal 180's be a bad choice for that board?...And also I think they would be pretty long trucks for that deck so the wheels would kinda stick out far and look funny. So should I just go with the 150's? Let me know...Thanks.
I have a Soulcarver pintail, and I use 180's with abec 11 flashbacks flipped around for general carving. If I'm going out for a sliding session, I run them the right way (wider trucks are eaiser to slide with, more stable).
