Default Stalkers=the best truck ive ever ridden!!

I said before that i would never spend 70 bucks on cast trucks, but i found them for a great deal at my local shop and sprung for them. I have them mounted on my sector 9 9 star with 70mm otangs and reds bearings. The smoothest board ive ever ridden! These thing are amazing, they carve like a dream and have no vibration! Well worth the money guys!

Tried a lot of trucks, from randals to paris to sabres, have yet to try any sort of machined trucks as they are out of my price range, but for a cast truck i think they are at the top. IMHO.

So whats good about them exactly?

    We need more depth analysis.

I remember when they fist were announced, people were talking about there being slop in the pivot cup or something.

Also, I bet My trucks ( That is, My personal set. ) offers a smoother ride than any other truck out there.
My hanger is literally floating, true suspension.

that's with any cast truck, hell any truck with a pivot thats in a pivot bushing has or develops slop.

    randal comp series?

and yes, an in depth review would be nice. i just saw these for the first time the other day and am wondering what the "suspension system" consists of.

PEOPLE will always hate on anyting S9 comes up with until they use it and then its all about it. lol

s9 race forms... S9 race deck... Gullwing chargers are actually very nice for racing... and stalkers look to be very promising.

there was a time when S9 had crap for components, but i think they are really stepping up their game to compete with the other big guns.

but like always... people here will hate on S9 till the fad starts up and they start getting used more and more. lol

Well, What I remember seeing was people saying that since it was a gullwing, that it would have terrible slop, or something like that

    And no, not comp randals.
Their some Other Planet trucks that have some very unique modifications in them.
The hanger itself, not the axle, is floating.
Right now they have about 1/8" of travel, But I'm hoping to get it up to 1/2"
And even when it does reach the end of its travel, The hanger is still resting on a 3/4" thick hunk of probably 50-60 duro thane.

dude seriously? stop promoting your product in threads, it hardly even pertains to the thread, you keep forcing it in. Makes you look bad as a business, I'd suggest you reconsider your advertising practices.

On the thread of the topic, my only thought with these at speed was that having the axle floating in whatever they use to vibrate would cause kind of a slop in the axle. Never seen the trucks in person or anything though so that was totally speculation. Rad to hear they ride great though.

    I'll be more careful.

Here's the thing though, They're the trucks I ride.
I talk about them to talk about MY trucks, not to promote a product. Just the same as other people bring up their trucks they ride.

I agree it doesn't really pertain to the thread, It was kinda an offset to the main point in my original post. Then people started asking questions about it... and...
Well, got off topic. I do that a lot, and not just w/ my trucks.

If anything, I do it more for rep than for advertising

I love S9. I don't like Chargers at all though, which makes me not trust any of their trucks because that's how I roll.

    it wont. it never will.

its ok though i know a bunch of guys that work there including old man Victor and they are the chillest dudes i know. they help promote all the outlaws here in SD and have passed around a ton of stoke.

S9 is a good company, no matter what we are trained to believe here on the fish. ^_^

i had a look at them at my local mall skate shop,
looks neat... i want to try them..

I am not sure how they prevent the axle from sliding side to side...
but there is this spacer thing for the inside bearing face that doesn't move...

    what degree are these??

i wonder if the suspension action translate to roll speed....??
