    Use softer bushings and don't leave them loose, or just don't leave your kingpin so loose that the cushions aren't pinched onto the hanger. That noise is usually "washer rattle", and if you've got the bushings under some tension when you're rolling straight they won't do it.

    Default Death rattle!

    I'm assuming you mean the kingpin rocking around in the baseplate. I hate that too. I swapped to a grade8 bolt, inverted it and used red loctite on the bolt where it passes through the base. I have also used loctite sleeve retaining compound too. Both should be available at an automotive supply place. No more rattle!

    Hmm.. good ideas, Mellowkat.

    Basil;
    I'm running black hourglass bushings.. real soft. Not as loose as i used to when i had Yellow Stims but those never rattled.. So its washer rattle, eh? Hmm..

    Oh yeah man, whats the word on those skyhooks.. remember?

    Shoe Goo on the kingpin where it's housed in the baseplate.

    are you implying that the noise is from the kingpin?

    lol, all I did to stop my rattle was to disassemble and reassemble the trucks. Althought I did remove the bottom washer completely and inverted the top washer.
