    Default FORCE TRUCKS

These came in today and they come in 2 styles Competition (C7) and Response (R7). they basically equate to a 35 degree and a 50 degree baseplate. The hangers are almost identical to Randal 180's and so far we have setup a set of the R7's on the Hairpin with Bones Hardcore blue bushings and they are so smooth to carve. They are much nicer to ride than a Randal RII 180. The baseplates are similar to the Randal DH but not quite, AND they are actually drilled out accurately (Did you hear that Mr Fuller???????????).

Without further ado, here are the pics

I got these from Force Industries in Melbourne Australia, but I guess they would be available from any Force Industries distribution centre, try:

I managed to suss out a little info about Force (it was easy: I asked). It's the project of three "retired" but active Board Sports pros, and they've got a whole host of projects where they're making "better mousetraps": trucks, race boards, etc...

A-Drain, do you carry their boards, too? This may not be the right forum, but I'd sure like to hear about them.

I've been in communication with Force (in Australia), and am considering importing their trucks (55-deg, 30-deg models). Retail price would be approx $42/pair (but isn't set in stone).

If anyone is potentially interested in these trucks, please let me know.

$42? That aint a bad price at all, if I was in the market for new trucks I'd be all for it.

Like I said, the final price is still TBD. Not sure what it costs to ship 30-40 trucks from down under.

Correction--US Retail would be around $58-60/pair.

I'd be interested in the 35 degree ones. Really like how well the Crails are made and would like to get some turnier ones for a cruiser.

35 is less turny than crail
as dark as a black steer's toocus on a moonless prairie night.

    E-Basil,

I used to get their boards, the regular cruising boards (ie pure timber) are ok, but had a lot of trouble with the DH Race board. They go soggy and start to flex alot and I even had one delam while riding - very spooky experience!!!

    Mark,

You scared the crap outta me with that first pricing, can't even manage that here, but the second is closer. They must be giving you a better price than me if you can get them to the US and still sell them for $60 a set. The freight here for 6 sets was $25 scary stuff.

    Cheers
