    Default 150mm or 180mm randalls ????

Im looking at getting some randalls for my home made hammerhead board and want the truck with the greatest carving ability.

    do i choose 150mm or 180mm.

my logic tells me 180 will be more stable and 150 have greater carvability.

    is this right>

in most cases the 180s are carvey enough and that bit more stable. holeys also rock, very turny and stable, much better bushings too.if you can get them easily their worth it

180s for centerset wheels or really wide planks, 150s for sideset wheels. I do have a set of 180s on sale if you'd like them:

what is the width of the board and what wheels are you using...because that determines a lot. ifthe board is over 10 inches then most definatly 180s...under that is is all based on your wheel width and preference.

ps. go for 150s...more turny, and bombing up to about 30kph is simple.

Doesn`t the loaded hammerhead use a tracker truck?

My feeling is that you want to maintain maximum stability with your board, the randals are always a little "tippy" because they`re so tall. But I`m one of the few people that doesn`t really get into rII`s that much.

both are great the only reason i got the 150s is because it fits my board better. i don't get speed wobbles ony my 150s.
