    Default revenge is sweet

so a friend of mine got 2 sets of revenge trucks one for him and one for me, they were $25 for the set directly from the guy from barefootboards, because he was down in ventura so we got a deal
i noticed that nowhere could you find detailed pictures so i took a couple for you guys
this is the truck compared to an invader truck (which is 65mm tall while the revenge trucks are a huge 90mm)

then i took them apart and here you can see all of the components to them the hanger is about 150mm wide

    riding--
great ride on a big board (my 46in board) feels a lot like a snowboard or a big surfboard (like my 9 foot surfboard) a lot of heel to toe movement to turn made me feel like i was on snow again, very easy to control speed and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get wheel bite with 70mm wheels with no risers

over all i loved these trucks a great snowboard simulater maybe not as good as some other boards but deffinately up there as far as boards with 4 wheels go, for a surf feel its nice but feels like a BIG board which i personaly like

stability was my major concern having riden bakus which wobble at about 15mph no matter what, i could keep speed on these trucks very easily and as long as you carve you wont wobble but once you start to bomb then things may get tricky

I'm such a wild and crazy guy that I'm totally getting those, even before the 'fish reviews them. I'm just that wild and spontaneous. Should I be suspicious that the barfoot rep sounded like Santa Claus?

    unbiased opinion, killer trucks

i have to day after more riding my only qualms would be the height, once you add wheels and a large deck like they are seemingly made for it gets pretty tall

    Yes, fully.

Although if you compare them to other torsion trucks it is noticed that they all ride high.

everything is big about them even the kingpin at 3.5 inches will be a challenge to replace with a grade 8 because i can only find up to 3 inches around here

They actually look like they wouldnt be too difficult to drop either...
Hard to say, the board would have to have mean cutouts.

Regarding the ride height of the Revenges, two things:

--they're the same axle height as Exkate and Baku

--they allow insane turns with 70-75mm wheels with NO wheelbite.

those trucks are sooooooo sweet. on the set up weasel has them on it feels like no other, actualy similar to carving some thick powder snowboarding...with a lot of heel and toe control. as far as these compaired to other torsion trucks: my bro has some bakus...first the revenge have a much better design, second they feel much much better under foot. the bajus, in my opinion, suck ass. these were bloody amazing. the responce of one of my friends(the one who scored the deal) after riding, "love love love love love love" and i completly agree.

as for the insane height, someone should def. try a drop-through with those to see what happens.

my friend who partially lives over there was. and if you set it up with some slalom wheels in80-84 duro and a long board...like 46+ inches then it cruises like no other...on the other board we had...with grippy wheels and was shorter, i really did feel floppy. try for longer and harder wheels.
