I think he's been particularly parsiminonious about posting pertaining to his preparation of prototype trucks. But did you see the SIZE of the green (blurry) glob between those wheels? It looks like he used the whole cushion from those photos he posted in the Bushing/Cushion thread.

I saw a post about these on NCDSA and emailed him. He emailed me back and sent a couple of photos and a mock up of some of the bushings. There were some amazing shapes that he's been working on.

It'll be real interesting when these things get released.

Yeah. There was another one too that looked large in diameter and was kind of shaped like a diamond. The round sides were sliced down to square them off on six sides. I can't find the picture of those.

Yeah the last one is what I was talking about. There was a triangle one too. It looked like it fit in the triangle portion of Randals. Pretty much large enough to fill the whole part of the truck.

I saw that one on NCSDA and did read the replied going back and forth between him and Chaput.

But that's not the one I'm talking about. This one was a big green chunk. Sort of like the red one I posted above but instead of two "ears" going off to each side there was a third that made a triangle. I remember now that it was something Chris sent me but something I saw somewhere so maybe it wasn't his but the green color was right on.

Some pretty exciting stuff going on regardless. And in my opinion not a minute too soon.

The upper truck looks like that new carver. I wonder how that works? Has anybody tried it. The Bushing seat on the Radikal dh truck looks like it would almost fit that oblong red cushion! I think that is the way things are going to go(bigger oblong bushings). There are a number of people in the process of making longboard specific trucks that answer some of the problems with current designs. This next year will be very interesting for sure!!

Holy crap, I just saw more than enough truck designs to last me years, I just wonder how many of them will become reality.

And will the Chaput truck really be worthy of all this hype, because I sure hope so, and does anybody have any idea what the price could be. Will it be competitive with Randals, because if they are, I think we're on the brink of a revolution. One in which Chaput will become the supreme leader of all longboarding, and we must all swear allegiance or risk severe beatings at the hand of his henchmen.

I just want to find some NON CAST trucks, machined from a solid block of Aircraft aluminum, with huge axles resting in a row of six cartridge bearings, and the axles wide enough for 2 Gummies per side!!!!
