Default Randals lettering: to grind or not to grind?

    Hey guys,

Just putting the finishing touches on my drop through speedboard, got a slick cut out made for the hanger, but I'm wondering what to do about the lettering on the hangers? should I bother grinding it off?
I think when I tighten the truck down, the lettering will bite into the wood (baltic birch, fairly soft)... but I'm not sure.... thoughts?

Also, does anyone know a supplier for randal DH (35 degree) baseplates? I'd love to be able to slap some on this board (of course, I'll have to mess up my beautiful cut outs) so that I don't have to keep changing trucks when I want to carve things up on my S9... (what can I say, I'm broke rignt now...)

    Thanks,

    Matt

yeah, it does make imprints, but hey, it looks punk

I believe that irssports.com has the baseplates, but may not have any in stock

...none in stock right now... are they REALLY $20 a piece? 'cause at that rate I may as well just get full trucks...

it's not as bad as you think, it's good to have spare parts laying around.
