    Default A Yank with Holeys

Hey I just received my Holeys from Lush today. I ordered them on the 17th. Not bad.

As far as the trucks go..... they're real nice. The bushings are sweet. I haven't mounted them yet and may hold off until my Swift 42 comes in this week. Looks like my whole board is coming together. The trucks came today. Scott emailed me and said my board should be here before the weekend and my wheels from MHM are on schedule to arrive on Wednesday.

    I'm stoked!

Hmm... still waiting to hear back from the Holey people.

What are the bushing seats like? Deep? Does it look like you could fit larger/different bushings w/o mod's?

The bushing seats are real deep. As far as putting anything in larger than what's in there? No I don't think so. The bushings that are in there are pretty much a tight fit. I haven't taken them apart but the bottom cushion looks like it might be larger already than the "average" bushing.

It's hard to get a real idea of the size because they're so recessed into the hanger and baseplate. I'll take them apart later today and compare them with some other bushings.

I could see changing the top cap washer with a flat one. It looks like it would hit the hanger if you ran them loose (but that's speculation at this point).

Yeah, go flat or flip the top washer on the Holeys.

Well I took them apart and the bottom bushing is really large. It's probably and 1/8" taller than the stock Randal bushings. It's has a bit more diameter to. Not much though.

I would assume you could stick about any bushing you wanted in there and it would fit (except some of Chaput's). The top bushing is essentially the same size as a Randal top bushing.

Of course the bottom is hour glass shaped and they're cool clear red which is way classy.

What about Stimulators? Does it look like they'd fit?

I'm not sure. I don't or never have used them. The recessed opening in the hanger is 1 1/8" wide if that'll give you some idea.
