    Default New Gullwing M1's

Anyone try 'em? What do you think about them? How do they turn, carve, and grind?

They look like Gullwings version of 6 tracks to me. Drilled old and new with an easily swapable kingpin. Good looking also. If they are priced under $30 they will sell many.

I rode a set of Mission 1's tonight, first time. As far as turning and carving, they do well. I really didn't feel up to grinding on the flexy S9 Cosmic 2 that they were attached to, so I can't really speak to that. I'd like to try them with some decent bushings. I had to swap out the stock ones for Doh-Doh's (yuck, I know..it's what I had lying around) since they were ridiculously soft.

If you come across a set, try 'em. I would have no problem riding them on a cruiser.

so at work i test rode the sector 9 completes with these new trucks on em. they turn a lot. wheel bite on all the boards i tried: minis, bamboos, cosmics 1 and 2, cloud 9 and nosewalker. they all had angled risers or 1/2" flat risers.

Yep, wheelbite with the stock bushings was my experience as well. They are ridiculously soft, I think you'd have to be 90lbs to avoid it. Not too bad once you change the bushings, which eliminates bite. Though I'll stick with Indy's myself.

When you turn hard the bottom bushing pops out of the little cup. It looks like it will put more stress on the kingpin around the threads. They feel kinda sloppy too.
