Randal R2 180 new school drilling pattern?

i ordered r2's about a week ago and went to the skateshop today to ask if they already arrived. they didn't, but the guy told me they come with new school drilling pattern

Is that true?

the holes i drilled in my homemade beauty for those cheapo-trucks i found in the cellar are oldschool, would be a pity to drill extra holes!

i was so frustrated i had to buy some 78a hawaii's 70mm and bones reds

They have both old and new school drilling patterns. But to use the new school one, you'll have to do a little tricky thing with your riser pads. Good thing you're not using new school! Oh, and get Do Dohs Red Bushings...

i already got some bones hardcore bushings, are they ok for r2's? otherwise i'll put them in my shortboard trucks

the guy at the shop told me 160's come with oldschool drillings and 180's have new school.....

never heard of 160's though.

well, however, i can lower my blood pressure now

All RII trucks have both drilling patterns. I think the 160 Downhill trucks have old school, but I don't know. I've never used those bushings, but anything is better than those yellow sponges that come with the trucks.

Was talking to the Lush guys about bushings a while back and the general consensus was that Bones Hardcores are as good as/better than Indys. I went for the Indys though, 'cos that's what I'm used to...
