In the pic, the trucks look a little bit more angled than an R2, so I would think its a gullwing super cruiser 60

Yeah. In the newest issue of Concrete Wave there is an ad for Gullwings and the skater is skating Carver C7s (I think). Even if they are some other model of Gullwing it's wierd because the ad is for the new model of Gullwing. The truck on the board and the close-up truck shown in the ad are definitely not the same truck.

Diferent ad than the one shown above.

those are definately randals i laugh at that every time i open that issue. i havent seen the newest one though. i think that says something about gullwing quality. they print ads with people riding another company's trucks. but i havent ridden the crusiers. they are based on a design that rides nice so they might be ok.

I've never owned a pair myself, but everyone that I've known throughout the years that bought a pair, ended up braking them reletivly quickly. Hence why I never owned a pair.

Does anyone remember (or remember hearing about) when Kryptonics was King? It was really true: Kryptos were better urethane and great wheel designs. We could dicker over when and where Kryptonics lost its performance leadership position (but why bother?), but it's generally accepted now that the NAME Kryptonics is now owned by Variflex and the name has very little to do with the chemists and designers of lore.

GullWings are much the same as Kryptonics, in my view. Mike Williams designed some great trucks that worked great, and later some great wheels (with Bel-Air) and more great trucks. Sure, you could break original GullWing slalom trucks if you dropped into ditches, rode ramps or tried to grind too many curbs (screeeee!!!) with them. Big deal. Later, the GullWing Pros came out, and that was a great truck...I still have mine and have even ridden them recently. Remember the "GullWing Army"?... Okay, we could dicker over when and where GullWing lost its way (but why bother?), but it's generally accepted now that Mike Williams is deceased (too early), that his former company has very little to do with the stoke of old and that it's essentially a name on OEM trucks for Sector/Dregs now.

Sure, they've had some unintentionally hilarious ads recently. My guess is that these things happen when people that don't skate are putting ads together.

No. Actually, I think the funniest would be an ad with the rider on...
