    Default Carving Trucks: Carver vs. Original

    In the specialty carving truck world this is like Tracker vs. Indy.

    So I took a page out of K-Lee's book and decided to use them both on the same board!

    Carver CX in front and Original S6 in back!

    This thing pumps like mad!

    Amazing.

    Details here;

    Your relentless carver raving sold me.
    I set up a cx pair a LY dragon (39") yesterday with powerpaws and it's one sweet ride. It's such a versatile setup. (I still need to work on the pumping body dynamics) I also have originals (S8) on a hypercarve (dewedged back) and grippins. It's my two-board quiver for traveling. My three randal setups (LY chief, dropcarve and fluid redv) are collecting dust.

    Cool man.

    Glad your enjoying your carvers and original's.

    For pumping on the carvers, place your front foot directly over (or even in front of) the front truck. Then bend your knees and sort of wiggle the front foot back and forth, making small turns. The back foot should be pushing down on the deck in the opposite direction of the front foot.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks for the rundown, silver, your description makes sense. On smooth pavement, I can move. I just need to put in the time.

    In the other post, as for the power paws, it looks like longskate sells them. http://www.longskate.com/

    Thanks for the pumping tip. That works great.

    I can't get the hang of ncdsa.com. It just seems like a big confusing mess.

    Good to hear you're diggin the pumps on the CX!

    I hear you about that other site, I typically just stick with a few forums (pumping, slalom, and CSA, being part of Cascade Slalom). And of course its one of the main places for the 'calendar' - signing up for slalom events or any other races. 'Newsy' stuff tends to fall down a page or two into forgotten oblivion, so you gotta have some search skills and even then its tricky. Good times in the slalom forum off and on, when people aren't whining about six-wheeled skateboards
