    Default seismic question

I own 2 set of seismics. 7 of the spings are the same, but 1 has a deeper
hole in the top. By the top I mean when you adjust the spring tension
the screw goes deeper in to the plastic spring retainer by about 1/4 inch.
The hole in the retainer is actually deeper than the others.
This causes it to steer that way easier than the other. Do you see any
solution other than buying a new spring? This is a pain in the butt for what I think are otherwise great trucks.
    Thanks Steve

Might be an old style or bad spring... email Dan G with a pic; he'll get things right for you - he's on SF and does actually care...
Pain is how you know you're not a zombie...

Ok, upon dissasembly this is what i have. The adjusting probe has pushed thru the spring retainer and broken it. The broken piece is seen inside the spring. Any tightning of the adjuster would simply push the probe further thru the spring retainer, not affecting the large yellow spring at all, only compessing the small spring.

Humm... I guess at one time or another I have put too much pressure on
that side of the truck. I am always carefull about not adjusting them to tight and never went over 3 turns on the adjuster. O well another call to
Mark at MHS to buy some new springs( heavier this time), will solve my problem.
