    Default bones hardcores

ok so i have a few sets, all in the medium, but some are yellow with black tops and some are white with yellow tops, ive only got one pair of the white/yellow but ive noticed afew things about them

they have a hard time fitting over grade 8 axles, idk about normal axles because i havent tried any wiht them

i dont use washers with them, in not sure if its bad but i dont like to have a long kingpin so i usualy dont have room for the, but ive found that the yellow have gotten chewed up by my rench just ont he yellow top part, i just put them on and they are alreaday chewed while the yellow and black are strong

so is it going to kill them to not use washers?

any anybody else had these problems with the newer bones

does anybody know about the duro of these new ones? are they softer or harder, i was assuming that they would be the same as the old yellows but we will see, ive got the new yellow up front and old in back so it should be easy to tell

I use the soft blues and I've never had any problems with them. Some times they do fit a little snug but you just gotta push and twist 'em down the kingpin. Their made to be used without washers on the top and bottom. The plastic may get chewed up after time, but thats just normal wear and tear. One thing I like about the Bones is that the plastic insert doesn't cut into the bushing. Has anyone had any issues with the metal inserts of Khiros cutting into the bushing?

none. i got three sets of white inserts, all tops on my trackers. maybe its just cause im riding them as loose as it can go, with no slack.

on the top ones ive ridden a set of blues hard enough that the metal insert chewed through on the bottom so it was metal on metal contact with the truck and insert

Was that from over tightening the kingpin nut or from carving so hard?

they were really loose of a set of tracker so i just think it was from carving really hard, but i dont use the tops any more. Most of the time i use the barrel on the bottom and the bottom insert on the top, it may not turn as tight, but i cant deny the sweet rebound from that set up
