    Default Home made mini trucks.

Yeah, so I'm making a mini deck at home, but I didnt have any mini trucks, so I decided I'd butcher an old set of shortboard trucks.

I had a pair of Delta II trucks I havent used since I was like 13, so I figured I might as well do something with them.

They're pretty gruesome looking, but, they do the job nicely enough. I'm just going to wedge them and hopefully they'll ride ok.

Cut the hanger down from 129 to 95, and shaped the hanger a bit. The threads are 5/16 x 18 now, unfortunatly, because thats the only threadcount for 5/16" they had at the nearby Candian tire without buying a $100 set, so I'm just gonna buy my axel nuts from the hardware store for these

They're pretty slick though. I'm now working on filing and sanding out all the crap and scratches on them, I think I'm gonna paint them the same colour of purple I'm putting on my deck.

well, i think he knocked out the axle, chopped down the hanger, put in a new rethreaded axle to fit. :P

Yeah, wasn't too difficult. I pouded the axle out of the hanger with a hammer, once it was out, I cut the hanger down to the size I wanted, cut the same ammount off the axle, rethreaded the axle, and pounded it back in.

I think Hugh308 has a tutorial on how to do it.
