Default Do I need new trucks?

Hey, I recently purchased a 10" x 30" deck and some powell mini cubic 64mm-95a wheels. This is my first old school setup, I've been riding trick decks. I currently use 8" deadbolt trucks with risers, so my question is, will these do fine with the 10" width of my new deck? Am I missing out on the board's potential by not getting some 9" indys or trackers? If so, would indy 169s be a good match? I don't really feel like dishing out $30-40 for another inch of trucks. I haven't been able to try the board out yet cause I ordered online and it has yet to arrive. I don't feel like having the board slip out and lose half the skin on my face. kinda long post. thanks.

BTW-I plan to get some good carving out of this board, as well as a good amount of sliding.

so the hanger is 8 inch...so with wheels it will be about 9.5 inches wide...ya id say get new trucks...I have indy 169's and they are awesome!!very good for carving and sliding!(just replace the bushings)

You MIGHT be okay, since the mini cubes are wide wheels; but you'll have to try and see. Generally, with a 10" deck, you are entering indy 215 territory (depending on wheels).

I would say some tracker 184's, some Indy 210's. You need a 10" width for that board, 9 inch trucks (indy 169) (sixtracks)will still not be quite right.

okay, so i'm going to get a set of randall r2s. I'm not sure what the wheel base of my board is, all i know is 10" x 30". With 64mm mini cubics, will i need a set of risers? thanks.

I have a Z-Flex pig, its a 10 inch board, i'm running RII's with the back hangar flipped, on the back i have a 1/4 inch riser to make up for the flipped/unflipped difference, but no riser on the front. I've got 65mm 95a noskoolz on mine. Super fun, but it's more of a skurfer with randal's. My bowl board i use 169 indys.
