    Default cutting down shortboard trucks

So today i tried cutting down some old grind kings i had, and i couldnt get the axles to come out. Then i noticed that on both trucks, the axles bent slightly upward. Im not sure if i bent them by hammering or not, but it seems like they were always like that. Is this normal? I havent noticed it on any of my other trucks (randals, orginals etc) but then again i havent looked that closely. If it is supposed to be like this, what is the purpose of it? Theres no way to get them out of the trucks now....

just curious, do you have grindking axl? they have a wierd v shaped axel so it takes longer to grind down to the axel. if so, they cant be hammered out.

if they are AXL's it would say something of that nature on the baseplate, and they would have cost you a fortune.
