Sure can. It needs to be 2.5" long, grade 8, 3/8" diameter? (I believe thats right but I'm not positive), and FINE thread. Don't make the mistake of getting course thread cuz the nut won't screw on.

It doesn't have to be 2.5" long, or grade 8. If you are replacing your kingpins, then yes buy grade 8, but you can have different lengths so you can experiment with different size bushings.

but yeah, buy grade 8 and fine threaded (24 per inch i think)

i found mine at ace but they were in the boxes above where the rest of the nuts and bolts are. i suppose cause they cost more than ordinary bolts. if you ask maybe the workers can help you out.

your best bet is to bring a nut and bushings along with you. if everything fits, then it must be the right one.

ive never seen a fine threaded grade 8 bolt, but what you can do is invest 75 cents more and get a grade 8 matching course threaded lock nut

    I have hundreds of fine-threaded grade 8's in 2", 2.25", 2.50", 2.75", and 3.00" lengths.

Hey Mark - I noticed on the kingpins I got from you, that the unthreaded part is a bit thicker than my other kingpins. Like, when I sldie them into a Randal baseplate, it gets a little stuck after the threads are through, and it takes a little push to get it through. It gave me a little bit of trouble on a Tracker Dart baseplate, where I had to open the hole up a little bit.

Correct. A little bearing lube will usually make it easier to get them in. That and a hammer.

If i wanted to put two tracker bottom bushings on a king pin how long would the replacement one have to be? I think they are the hourglass bushings.
