Default Making khiro bushing out of standard randals. :D

    Observation:
The standrard randal bushing has a tendency to pop out of it's washing. This is usually solved by flipping the washer or getting a new, flat one. This will keep the bushing form being popped out after the carve is finished. However, i doubt that the bushing will keep from popping during the carve. The khiros does not suffer from this poblem due to a built-in washer.

    What i did:
Grab the randal bushing and it's washer. Scratch the inside of the washer to rough oup it's surface. Sand the narrow end of the bushing a little. Grab some super-glue, add plenty of it in the washer and press down the bushing. Let it dry.

    Tests:
Tried greabbed the bushing and the washer and tried to pull them apart. I was not able to do that.
Mounted the bushing in my randalls. Tighted them quite hard, as it seams to enhance the problem of the popping bushings. Simulated som deep carves (a lot deeper than i actually can do while riding) in my living room. No popped bushings.
Tried to pull the bushing and the washer apart again (to see if the simulated carving had loosened the bond). I was not able to seperate them this time either.

This seams to work fine. What do you think? No reasons to buy new bushings anymore?

I don't really like the feel of khiros...too little urethane depth.

did you only use the khiro inserts? if so..i can see why you didn't like them. I only like to ride the barrel khiro set, the inserts just don't seem to turn well

I've been getting the popping sound on one of my Tracker trucks, I think it's cause I'm using one of those super-soft Khiro white barrels on top. I'm using a flat washer, so it's not popping out of that, but once it does pop out, my truck rattles, which gets annoying as hell. So I stole your idea and glued the flat washer to my bushing, hopefully this will get rid of the problems, or atleast just the rattle. It's drying now, I'll let you know how it works one I get it set up.
