Midtracks or RTS/X on the new GFH Recluse?
hey everyone.. do you guys have any opinions on this?.. i am trying to figure out how i want to set up this deck.. i am not too sure which trucks to go with on this one.. im looking for a great campus cruiser, carving machine, something i can hit up some hills for speed, ride the cement pools in the local skatepark, and the vegas drainage banks.. i want to possibly wedge it with Khiro's.. and add some either extra soft (white) or soft (blue) Khiro's bushings.. and just in case any of you are wandering im thinking about Abec 11 Retro 66 Zig Zags.. not heart set on anything yet.. thats why im posting this for some opinions.. http://gfhurley.net/product/recluse.htm thats the link to the GFH website for the recluse.. let me know what you all think on this.. thanks

I have a very similar set up with a Bruce Logan deck, its very turny and I think the stock bushings in the tracker rts-x trucks are great, very soft, they turn more than you want I would bet.

i would go with the rts/x setup, but a wider one.
i think the 139mm would be good.

I've got the recluse and it's a really fun ride. My suggestion would be to just go with the complete. The wheels are nice, the bushings are khiro, and as far as conventional trucks go you won't do much better than the GFH trucks. the board was also designed for that equipment (wheel wells for example) so that'd be a good way to go. the GFH trucks are turny yet pretty stable, if you want even more stability just throw some harder bushings in.
if you're going to go tracker, I suggest you go LARGE tracker. the stock GFH trucks are about 180 mm and they fit pretty nicely. the 149 rts/x's would probably work, esp. with offset wheels like zigzags. otherwise, you could try out the tracker darts at 161 or 184.
go with the board if your instincts tell you you want it. it's a smooth, nice riding board, and has got nice camber and a good kicktail.
