force kingpin dont wanna come out

i have a set of C7 force trucks and i want change the bushings however to do that i was playing around and trying to take the kingpin out and it just wont. i smacked it witha rubber mallet but to no avail. i cannot get this sucker out. actaully i have the same problem with my indy 169s. so yeh any ideas ???

dont use a rubber mallet, it needs the shock of being struck for it to pop

which way are they put in?? i take it the nut is at the bottom, sort of inside the baseplate, or is it on top near the hangar. i had no issues with mine at all, they came straight out.

the head of the bolt is in the base plate. yeh i tried a claw hammer(not the claw end) but yeh no go. i didnt wanna bash it to much in case i missed and hit the base platebut i think ill bolt it to some wood aqnd jam that in the vice and smack it

put the BOLT into the vice and clamp it tight, then squirt penetrating oil around the bolt hole in the baseplate. let it soak ina bit and then TWIST the baseplate back and forth to loosen the bolt. Most likely the bolt is "frozen" in place due to moisture seeping into the space between the bolt and baseplate.

I was going to suggest Liquid Wrench since that sometimes happens to my randal kingpins if I let things get wet. Arent those Force trucks boated in from Austrailia?

i live in aus but on the west coast yeh ill try a bit of wd40 and give em a wack

yeh i just had to wack it harder, the kingpin has teeth that much ones in the base plate that hold in there.
