use the soft blue if you are less than 150-160, if you are above that go with the medium yellows.
i advise the use of flat washers even though the bushings have hard plastic pieces where it contacts the truck components. The longer one on the bottom and the shorter one on the top
I've had problems with most of mine not being able to fit over onto the 'buldge' on the kingpin that is right after the threads... I have 1 set of stock randal kingpins that they do fit over that does not have the buldge but I've never been able to get the bottom bushing onto a grade 8 kingpin. I have 3 sets of the hardcore bushings and the hard plastic part on all of them is too small. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Yes. Hold the bushing in a rag, and using a skate tool, "thread" the bolt while pushing downward on the bushing.
They are pretty hard to get onto the kingpins. It took me at least five or ten minutes, but eventualy I got them on. I would imagine some kind of grease or whatever would make it easier.
I bearing lubed mine and then tried to pound it on with a hammer but to no avail so eventually I gave up... I've tried many times since then and every time end in the same result. Maybe I suffer a curse of oversized kingpings
I have randal 180's and my friend has randal 150's, and we both got khiro aluminum inserts and they died on us. when we first swapped it in, i couldn't really tell the difference in performance, but i noticed recently that it feels very different from how it used to feel (and also very different from another person's board in the hall who just got randal 180's w/ the stock yellow bushings). the trucks wouldn't turn very well. i kept having to step off the board because the board wouldn't move with me and i lost my balance. i ordered the stock yellow bushings for randal's and tried them out yesterday, and the feeling is completely different. it feels more like how it fest when i first got the board. i put em on my friend's board and same result.
and yes i did use 2 washers to compensate for the height difference. i'd recommend buying another set of randal stock yellows
as said above yes they fit, i actually destroyed a set of the blue softcores in 2 rides, but that was sorta due to improper seating due to poor casting of the randels
