..when they are released you will see significantly less traffic on the 'fish that day. That day will be like a solar eclipse. The traffic on Bennetts site will be gi-normous. Old school skaters and curious youngin's will be gawking at the proverbial internet window of Bennett. Mark at Mile High Skates will be receiving an increase of email traffic to his site. The subject line "Bennett" the message "when?" The inquiry's for stock have already begun.
In the newest CW zine they had an ad and the boards and wheels looked "beewtiful." It may well be the hottest thing to come out in skateboarding this year.
I am loading up my paypal account as I type.
Be prepared and purchase with gusto!
I have seen a recent surge of interest in Bennett Trucks recently.
I used to have a board with Bennett Trucks and Power Paw Wheels. (this is going back over 30 years) I understand the whole nostalgia thing, but as far as a riding truck, they were cheap as hell. We used to break baseplates on them weekly. The axles would bend easily. The entire truck would bend on any sort of a hard landing. The bolts would strip.
I guess Bennett took things to the next level, skating-wise, but as soon as Tracker, Gull Wing, and Independent trucks came out, we were all over them.
If they are reissuing Bennett Trucks, I hope they make them to last.......
I've been on the Web everyday hitting about 10 online retailers
to see if they've been released. Losing a lot of valuable SK8 time
sitting in front of the monitor....Hey Mr. Bennett...Fish or cut bait !!!!!!
