    Default Tracker questions

Is it a problem if the hangar is digging into pivot cup? I've tried to replace it with a new cup but can't get the hangar in place so I'm stuck with the old one. I'm not sure on how much it could affect the rebound, if any.

Also, I picked up some Aluminum Insert Khiros, not the Combos. Can these damage the base plate from metal on metal contact? Will they turn the same as a bottom barrel bushing?

i had the hanger digging into the pivot cup on a tracker rt-s 139. i think it does make the truck feel muted- so i took a metal file and carefully shaved away the lump on my hanger which was getting caught up on the pivot cup. so much for quality assurance at tracker- but it was an easy fix.

I thought about that, I'm afraid I'll either file too deep or file unevenly.

use a hand file, its hard to file too much like that, and follow it up with a wire brush to help smooth it out asthetically

Well I filed them down a little. I don't know how much it helped. I turned the cup around too, but I can already see the hangar pushing against it pretty hard. Oh well... Thanks orangeskill.

By the way, does anyone know if there is a difference between a front and back truck on SixTracks? Cause I don't and I'm pretty sure mine have been moved around since I first got them.

No difference at all unless you set them up different (bushings, tightness etc) or have done more grinds on one than the other....

Phew. Thanks to everyone who responded.
I wouldn't normally be whining about small things this much but I'm injured and can't skate what I want to right now, so basically all of my concentraion is going into tuning. Pathetic :P
