Default will original s10's work on a 15" wide board?

since i cant find a pair of gullwing pro III 15's anywhere i guess s10's might work any thoughts? i'm worried bout the edges of the board hitting the ground.

also i can find gullwing 13" trucks for offroad http://www.madridskateboards.com/pag...ail.asp?id=228

but do i need to order 2 or is it sent as a pair?

Unless you use a major amount of risers, or have some crazy cutouts, you will get massive amounts of wheel bite with S10s on a 15" wide board.
Actually it wouldnt even be wheel bite, it would be more like wheel eat.

I would just get those Gullwing 13", and with side or offset wheels it should match the deck width.
And I would assume that is for a pair

i would post some pics but my digi cam broke a few months ago

it's a custom build for a customer who wanted a bird shaped board. in order to keep it to his length spefications and in proportion it had to be 15" wide he said money was no object so i'm gonna hook him up.

That's actually a really cool shape.
    I was imagining something different.

With that shape I think S10's would be perfect.
    Much better than those gullwings.

It should actually ride really well, I would guess.
    Good work on the board.

S8's could probably even work on that.

Lots of room for feet and multiple stances.
And yet minimal exposure to wheelbite due to the unique shape.

I'd like to try it with S10's.
PM a pic of that with Original's to Scott Imbrie (Original on SF).
    He might enjoy it.

yes cool shape, but damn 15" my one board at 11" is to wide well for me and my smallish size 9 feet, and s10's might just work with that shape might need some risers but it could work

I guess it's more board bite you gotta worry about. One thought is the Carver C7 trucks, they don't tip, but the front truck actually turns. I rode a surfboard (6' long and 19" wide) the other day with some mounted on the bottom and only got a little board bite.

damn man that is a really cool shape and definately looks rideable. Would be fun to ride it with both feet next to eachother toes pointing forward. Post pics when you get that thing painted.

Strange, I'm in the middle of building a bird shaped board for a friend. He had a cockatiel that died so I'm build a board in memory of the little guy. Only 9inches wide though. Pics soon.

Looks like it should work to me,
Might have an issue with board bite (on the ground not on the wheel) if you run into problems load up some larger wheels to get you a little further away from the pavement.
