Default Need some info on new (wider) Revenge trucks

I know that some of you guys are on the in with Robbie O. and the folks with Revenge. Does anyone know if there is a way to obtain just the new hangers as opposed to having to buy a whole new set of trucks? I have the 150mm now, and would like to buy just the 170mm hangers (the new ones are 170, right?). I don't believe that there is a online retail type joint where I could grab these up, so if anyone has the particular info, that would be great.

Well, Robbie's operation is pretty informal. To get the 7" (175mm) hangars, you just order with the comment, "I want the Silverfish deal for the Alpha 2 7" hangars!" And then they throw those in the box instead of the 6" version.

I don't think there is a way to buy just the hangars, I've never seen them listed for sale that way... If he did, he'd be left with some leftover baseplates! However, the only way to tell for sure is to email them and ask, they may be able to hook you up.

Honestly though, if it was me (and it was, because I recently went through the same thing), I'd just order the whole set of 7"ers, its only 46$ including shipping, and then you've got a whole spare set of trucks. You can always find something to put a spare truck on! Some future project, a deck for a friend, or you could even sell them. But if you just buy hangars, then you'll have a spare set of useless 6" hangar, just sittin' around.

    But thats just me.

    peace,

If you want some feedback and pictures on the newer, bigger sized Revenges, mine should be here tomorrow I can post some photos and my thoughts then.

I was going to post a picture of mine (they got here a few days ago), but they look exactly like the regular ones. Just imagine the hangar as being 1/2" longer on each side. Other than that, identical in every way.

How do they feel? Very nice! They have that Revenge feel I'm fond of, but with just a touch more stability, and a touch less leverage.

More detailed comments will have to wait, I de-mounted them so I can mount them drop-thru, which should be very nice.

    peace,

They're using the larger ones as original equipment on the
OP Fish. Wheel-wise, does anyone know how large you can
go ?....the stock 65's have 1 3/4" to the deck, straight ahead.
This is my first experience with these trucks, they seem a bit
    squirrelly and tall.
