yah the baseplate does look randelesque, but i would definatly be swaping to some grade 8 kingpins cause i have a feeling you might break some of the normal grade 3 stuff, it would be very interesting to try, but at 110us well a little too pricey for something that could just be a gimic when in reality you could almost buy 2 sets of holeys for the same price, if they droped there price by about 1/2 then i would consider giving them a good try

Pretty expensive for something that look less functional than something smaller.

Seems like more of a novelty than anything else.

It's too bad they have 3/8" axles, 10mm bearings will fit, but 3/8" is about 9.5mm and thats too much slop for me...

you'd just have to use mountainboard bearings which I think have the same outer diameter as skate bearings or order some from www.vxb.com probably they have some on that size.

^ Nope, mountainboard bearings have a slightly bigger OD and width, you could force them in, but that would probably deform the core of the wheel.

The only thing that would work is shimming up to/putting in 10mm axles, or living with the slop.
Either way, it would be a pain in the ass.
