Default Holeys and vanguard not friends?

I mounted my new holes on my vanguard...however, it seams like the randalls (wich the vanguard is pre-drilled for) and the holeys does not use the same hole patterns. The holey pattern is about 1-2 mm narrower.

It feelt kinda bad to force the trucks down on the screws when i know it causes stress on the deck.

Anyone else have a vanguard with holes? Problems mounting it? Will it survive, or will it crack along the v-lam?

Enlarge the baseplate's holes with a drill (carefully).

Soft barrel bushings like white khiros, clear/red/blue radikals.
    Spinning complacently in the darkness
Covered and blinded by a blanket of little lives
False security has lulled the madness of this world into a slumber

First toss the cup washers and replace them with flat washers, then play around with some bushings and you will find a winner. I prefer the stock Randal bushings on the bottom with an orange Indy bottom bushing mounted on the top. I mounted the Holey's on my Vanguard and at least with the stock bushings they do not work with the Vanguard as well as the modified Randals. I also like to flip the Randal hangars to help give the board a carvy yet stable feel.

If you want to make your Holeys turn even better, replace the top bushings with Tracker Hourglass/Racetrack or Randal (yellow) tops. Also, make sure you flip the top cup washer over or replace it with something flatter.

I already flipped the cup washer, but I will give the bushing suggestions a try.
