Default Best trucks for a sliding board

I just got a new gravity 36'' team deck and sergio sliders for sliding. I just put on some old skateboard trucks onto it, but the wheelbase is very small and I feel like I may need different. Should I get new trucks, and if so what kind?

Orions, Trackers, Indy's, Cores... any conventional truck will work best. Match the width of the axle to the width of your deck, and you should be good.

I like Indy's (for sliding), probably 169's on that deck.

Trackers would be a good choice as well.

Welcome to Silverfish! In general if you have a question that is pretty common such as this. Chick on the "Search" button on the top, type in "sliding trucks", click on "Search for all items" below that and then Click on "Posts" on the lower left, you will get a lot of results of previous discussions on this very topic.

For a brief summary, you generally will want conventional trucks such as Indy, Tracker, Core, Krux, etc... (i.e. not longboards trucks Randalls, Crails, Holeys) because those tend to just make a tight carve instead of sliding out (since you have a team 36" and sergio I assume you are trick sliding, and not just safety slides which can be done on any truck). Some people like Originals because they have an ultra-tight carve that turns into a slide, but personally I think that's not the best way to slide. Lower trucks like the Cores are said to make you feel more stable.

Personally I hace Core 6.5s and Tracker 184s on my two sliding decks.

Another vote for Indy's. You can't really go wrong.

If they're narrower or wider than the deck you're putting them on, they might feel a bit "weird".

ive got some tracker six-tracks which are very stable and low to the ground
and also good if you feel like rippin up the park (really good bowl shreddin trucks) but like alot of people say any conventional truck will work, oh and ive also ridden some indy stage 9's and those almost rip equally as hard as the trackers.
    Shmergan!
