    Default Top and Bottom Bushings?

Hey everyone, I just got my Big Bad Bushing kit #1. I've been reading around the forums and trying to play with the bushings but there are some terms I'm confused about. When you refer to a top bushing or a bottom bushing which is which? Is the top bushing the one closer to the deck?

And another question is what might be a good bushing combo for a 140 lb rider on a S9 trylam with RII 150s? I'm trying it out with the Blue Khiros with a the conical one closer to the ground and the barrel (cylindrical) bushing close to the deck. Any recommendations? Thanks everyone!

Generally, the barrels go on the bottom (closest to the deck). For the top, you could use either a conical or another barrel...it's all just a matter of personal preference. For your weight, I would try various combos of white and blue Khiros. It also depends on how you want the board to turn. Naturally, harder bushings will make the board less turny.

Khiro makes some great cones. on my axis gt i ran double coned yellow cones and its suuuper carvey and fun for sliding and city boarding. wouldnt reccomend for going above 20-25 on cones. a great standard is def barrel/cone setup. barrel board side cone road side. this setup allows stability but enough carve and lean to make good turns. more stable setups oftem times have doulbe barrels harder duro boardside. But i reccomend trying all setups and duros. many companies offer great products and the remember longboarding is purely what feels good for YOU. so have fun and try them out! hope i helped
