Tracker Rt-s Rt-x modifications?

HI everyone, I recently purchased my slalom setup and I am having lots of fun with it. I am really stoked about slalom and I have some cash so I was wondering about mods for trucks. They seem pretty cool and all but I don't know that much about them. What are the benefits of the chicken mods or the geezer x mods? Is there anything really special about them? I just thought they might be a cool little thing to add to my board. Also, can I give him my rtsx trucks and get those modded, or does he need like fresh ones of his own? (Mine are still new and in perfect condition) Thanks!

Jam, I'm still techniclly a newb at slalom also, but I've been to a few races this year, so you can take this advice for what its worth. But what I've figured out, is your going to want to spend your loot on a good quiver of wheels, bushings, and possibly wedges. Get those trucks dialed in so you know what type of bushings to ride for a course, and what type of wheels to ride for a certian road condition. Course is on the tight side? Run 66's. A little open? Run the 70's. Good pavement? Run the orange zigs in front......etc. There's so many variables in slalom its crazy. You got a good set of trucks right now, just work with bushing and wheel combo's to get them dialed in, and hit a few races this year. Then you can start worrying about upgrades. I found upgrading my back truck to a split axle (airflow) has helped me alot, but thats just me. Different stokes for diffrent folks.

Like I said, I'm just a newb at slalom still, so take this for what its worth. Good luck man!

Ok, maybe I will buy some wheels, I guess some more zigs and what not....... I have already bought like 2 sets of every khiro and of every radikal bushing and I will probably buy all of the bitch bushings and superball bushings, maybe some blue stims. A rail wedge kit will probably get purchased too! Thanks. Any more info would be appreciated too!

if you want stims, you may need to jump on that quick. unless that was just one color.. but i know something was running out, related to stims.

Any stim you want right now are gonna be hard to find, plus pricey. Even the blue ones are starting to go.

Rad bushings are godamn awesome, as long as you got somebody to trim them or you can do it yourself. You can even trim em into the stim shape, and there even better.

Otherwise, Khiro barrels work great in RTX/RTS. I run 2 white barrels in my RTX, and a Blue barrel top/red barrel bottom in my RTS, works for almost every course.

Cool, ya I have trimmed two radikal bushings in every color each to a barrel and I am going to get someone to trim two radikal bushings in every color each to a stim. Ya so far I am having really fun slaloming, so I am always happy to mess around with the bushings. Anyway, for my first order I am going to get 25 cones, a wedge rail kit, some bitch and bones bushings and a set of racing bearings for whenever I race DH or slalom or whatever. Probably some RoknRons Ceramics maybe combined with biltins. We shall have to see....... Thanks for the help.

Edit: Oh ya, rather than buying some sets of bigger wheels, I will probably get like a totally bigger GS/Large Hybrid slalom board with bigger everything.
