Default Are all risers created equal?

I want a set of 1/8" soft risers for a little rise and shock absorption. Are all 1/8" soft risers pretty much the same? Or are some way better than others?

Well, there are different materials "soft" risers are made from. PVC and rubber are the two most common materials. The rubber risers (ie Khiro) tend to be stiffer than PolyVinylChloride. I think PVC also has an appitite for some finishes.
