    Default Make my Lush L100 turn more like slalom trucks

    I bought a mini board with lush 101mm old school trucks some weeks ago. I currently use the board for sliding but i think it could have the potential of being a sort ot hybrid slalom board (though not for racing) if some tweaking was done to the trucks. I recently tried a board with tracker rts/rtx and it was really fun and now I want mine to behave more like those. Right now they don't really turn so well and the bushings are really hard so I cant loosen the front truck any more. It would be great if I could just buy some bushings and maybe some angled risers instead. I'm not looking for a racing setup, just want my trucks to be really turny and not to drift in the back when i push out of turns.

    I weight about 180 and the wheelbase on my board is 19". Any help would be much appreciated. Peace

    Replace the stock kingpin with a 2.25" grade-8
    Replace the bottom cup washer with a flat washer
    Replace stock bushings with blue or red Khiro Bitches
    Run Khiro 80a wedge risers

    Yeah wedging and soft bushings. Tracker hourglasses, white or blue khiros, anything labled "soft" really.

    Thanks for the suggestions above. If I want to turn more with my rear foot, should I use the same setup on the back and front truck? I'm thinking harder bushings in the back and softer in the front, am I on the right track? And also a noob question: Are wedged risers the same as angled risers?

    wedged = angled

    and the harder in back/softer in front is a good idea

    or

    same bushings all around, but with the wedges, have the fat part face the back for both trucks

    Soft yellow Stim and a clear Radikal bushing in the front truck. Wedge it positively 20 degrees by using two soft Khiro wedges. Khiro blue barrel on bottom and a red barrel on top in the back truck, dewedge 10 degrees with one soft Khiro wedge and raise it up with a 1/4" soft Khiro riser. Mmmm, slalom.

    Sofa King: Your setup seems a little extreme maybe, but it could be fun
    I'm going to buy a bunch of different bushings and some wedged risers and see what I can come up with. It will be my first attempt at something like this and really looking forward to testing different combinations.
