my crazy scheme

earlier today i was comparing some old thunder truck baseplates to that of my
Tracker RTX. To my suprise, the baseplates are stunning similar. the pivot angle (is that the right term) is almost the same, within a few degrees.

so, i plan to buy a bunch of baseplates cheap, then find a hanger that suits the base plate well, then use them on my board, or even sell them to my friends!

does anyone have a good idea for a hanger?

i have historically always bought whole trucks, but i thought that i could save a lot of money and give myself a fun project by trying this

and i haven't figured out where to get just plates...
i have shot some email around, but no responses yet

we'll just have to see

I don't understand how you're gonna make money at this - you're buying Tracker baseplates and then you're looking for hangers, right? What about kingpins, bushings, pivot cups? Buying the individual components is not cheaper than buying the whole trucks

If you had a bunch of hangers lying around, that would be a different story

no the whole idea is that i use cheapo skate truck baseplates (which are the same as tracker rtx) then use some decent hangers from another company

but you guys are probobley right, it doesn't make all that much since

but no one yet has even answered my question, so i will rephrase it:

what hangers fit into tracker RTX, beside the standard one?
are there any other brands that wil fit?

Tracker Dart and B2 hangers will most likely fit RT-S. Some straight pivot hangers (Orion) will fit RT-X.

Airflow hangers fit RT-X.

I dunno... there isn't that much special about the rtx, it's basically an Indy copy.... with a very slightly shallower pivot angle. I would guess that there are a lot of straight pivot hangers out there that will work, Indy, Krux, Destructo, etc etc
