I think a short run of these trucks, machined one-by-one, will be made available pretty soon. I know that sets are already in top racers' hands for testing. I think the cost of such a run should be pretty high, but not outside the established range for machined trucks.
Enough about the trucks Steve...where is that perfect right you have pictured?
Ha Ha!

I took that pic a few hundred miles down in Baja a few years back. It was mid-winter and and we were looking *around the corner* to get some relief from the relentless NW winds and, surprise!, found this perfect wave breaking on a freak south that managed to thread its way through. The relentless NW wind was a nice offshore there. Woo hoo!
Okay, a few people have been riding the v.3's, and several more were on the v.2's (the v.1's were ridden by about 30 skaters at a 'fish/LCB clinic), but there's been a general courtesy not to photog and publish the protos for the "Liquid Fyre" slalom trucks.
Anyway, here's a grainy look at the 3rd version protos, here by (anguished) permission...

Are those good for grinding?? You know, like smiths and stuff??...
They'd probably be about the worst truck on the planet to grind. They're a slalom truck, and made to turn with ease and precision above all else. Pumping, carving, cranking, driving - they work great. Grinding? Flipping? There are PLENTY of disposable trucks that are good for that, but horrible for slalom.
Ok, I think I have these trucks worked out.
Those two kingpins on the ends have spherical bearing pivots (or whatever theyre called) on them, which are the obviously the pivots of the truck. And Chris said you dont need to wedge the trucks, so I'm assuming that the pivots are adjustable, and tightening/ loosening the nuts on the pivots adjusts the angles. And when he said you can use them without a top bushing or locknut, its because the pivots keep it fixed in place.
And if you flip that picture of the trucks upside down, it makes alot more sense.

I'm really excited to get my hands on some of those bushings. It's been a while since people who really knew about good urethane mixing and slalom skating produced bushings commercially. I've felt that it's hard to find a good bushing that rebounds well like the stimulators. I'm sure chaput's done excellent bushing work.
