    Default randal 180's+gumballs=wheelbite

So i've had a set of randal 180's sitting in my room for about 3 months screaming my name. So when i mounted them on my board with my gumballs i am getting a mad case of wheel bite. i put 3/8 risers on it and i still get it. I am still using the stock yellow bushings that came with it. Can somebody please help me out? could this be solved with more risers?(not sure if hardware goes longer than 1 1/2) harder bushings?
    the board looks like this

    thanks

    i say smaller wheels

but if you cant do that, try some 1/2 in risers. if the hardware isnt long enough, go to a hardware store and buy some 10-32 machine screws in 2 in.

There's a few problems coming together here.

There's a very good chance that the wheel wells are in the wrong spot for randals.
you can fix this by either enlarging your wells or by re-drilling your deck holes.

76mm is beginning to head into cut-out land. I.E. the wells go through the board.

Risers can fix this too. but you will gain ride height. and end up with quite a high deck.
The bonus though is you'll have a ton of leverage over the hanger, which could make for nice carving.
The earth shall inherit the meek.

I've used R-180s and Gumballs on my Fleetwood with 1/2" risers and still ate sidewalk from an unexpected case of wheelbite. That board needs 5/8" of riser at least, but it has no cut-outs

From now on, my rule of thumb is no wheels that big without wheel wells or a board that narrows at the trucks. 70mm max!

If you have that board, with cutouts, 1/2" should cure ya. Don't go with harder bushings - I don't believe in compromising your carve to keep the board lower.... but that I guess depends on your needs.

I have that board. Don't put anything larger than 70mm. That is what someone told me. Or you can cut bigger wheel wells or make the board sit higher.
