I'm trying to dial in my Indy's, i'm wondering which bushings I should use. Should I stay with the stock ones or change them out. Please drop some knowledge family.

If you wish to use Bones bushings, put a few flat washers between the baseplate and the bottom bushing. This is to jack the geometry back in line as bones bushings are shorter in height compared to Indy's.

i'd put some soft kiro barrell bushings like blues or oranges in there instead, or the yellow bones bushings... the black ones are pretty hard and good for park and street stuff, but they dont carve all that great.

The Indy replacement bushing are better that stock.
If you want looser try the soft indy reds. Khiros would
    be good also.

Has anyone else had problems getting the Indy replacement Red bushings to fit on the stock Indy kingpin? Mine are a bit taller all told than the Orange standard bushings, and the last time I attempted to put them on it looked like I was going to be crushing the bushings.

Yep. I bought black replacment bushings for my old 215mm and they were taller than my orange ones. I 'grinded' the top bushing down over 1/8 inch to fit the nut on, and they were fine.

after experimenting w/ a few sets from the Khiro kit, i put a set of blues on my indy 169s and it made a big difference. my advice - which is what I got around here asking similar questions - is to get the Khiro kit, then try several combos till you find what feels right.

Hey if you want some seriously hard carving indys then check out the white khiro bushings for a dangerously hard carving setup. I was riding stock bushings and thought I'd made them quite turny, but with the white khiros set up loose it's like there's no stable centrepoint to the board. It's amazing! I can turn on a two pence piece now..... sort of... heh

The white khiro's are the 'hard' ones right? I think they are like the second to hardest one? I'm actually trying to make my trucks a little stable, and I thought white Khiro's would do that, but you said it makes the truck turny?

White are the softest. Then orange, then blue, then red, then yellow.

Yes the replacement Indy's are taller. I cranked down on
the bushings without the top washer and then was able to get the
top washer on. I use Indy bushings on my park/pool board.

Khiro white on the front of my slalom because they are the softest
    bushings I have found.
