Yeah, it's possible on a board with cutouts even larger than that of a Vanguard with wheels smaller than 70mm. The point in the center drags the ground on just about everything though.

Ebasil had a fiberflex set up with the rear revenge's hangar flipped at last wednesday's garage session. It would bite if you really leaned it over hardcore. I didn't ride it much at all, but yes, it's possible and it works.

You can flip the hangers on a Subsonic Falcon and probably not get any wheelbite.

    whoa,
sounds like a genius idea. I like my revenges but I hate the ridiculous ride height. just gotta get a board with some cutouts and some biggish wheels and you're good to go

    thanks for asking that, frank.

i ve already asked mr. pavedwave via pm... so it works? wheelbite aint a problem cause i ll design a deck for that setup. but i will flip the front truck, to make it a pumping setup! i hope its gonna work a bit like the carver cx then... EBASIL?

Yeah yeah: it "works". The ride height is lower, the wheelbase is shorter and the leverage on the bushing is reduced, so it's a little more stable. The thing is...you gotta use 76mm wheels or so if you don't want to be scraping the hanger on rocks and etc...

I have to say, I think the coolest way to lower a Revenge is the drop-throughs that Longboard Larry (anyone else, too?) has done. I haven't ridden one, but they look like quite the ticket. I have ridden the Bustin Complex with Revenges (2's) and it's "sorta effectively lowered" because of the nose/tail kicks where the trucks mount. That's a great setup!

I have a Lush Spooky with the Revenge Alpha II hangers flipped. This leaves about 1/4" of clearance between the deck and the pavement at the limits. Watch out for even small lips on driveways though. The center of the hanger is much lower now.

The Spooky is a drop through deck, and I have SunRiser lights mounted on the top side. We call this board "Revenge of the Spooky".
