    Default Broken kingpins.

I just broke my second front kingpin in two weeks. Three weeks ago I
bought a pair of Krown 8" trucks, one week later I broke the front kingpin.
I traded out for an other one, then it snapped in half as well a week later.
I live in St Pete FL. No hills, no speeds above 30mph, seldom above 15 mph on slight downhills. I am a longboard commuter. I do about 7 miles a day, a third of witch is on sidewalks. so I do not see where I could be the cause of the dammadge.
Have any of ya'll had problems like this from Krown trucks?

do you weigh like 1000 pounds? or have your trucks really really loose so that the washer touches the hanger?

You say you ride alot of sidewalks.. If you have a lot of slop in the trucks, I could see the constant abrupt jolt of sidewalk seam abrading to the point of fatigue and then shear! MHS Mark, could this be?

Need to see the trucks to diagnose the problem.

well, the shop that i got the trucks from took them back. Now i have a set of RII 180's.
I do run loose trucks witch could have helped break the pins, I also weigh 240lbs.
The only difference in my setup is the krown trucks. they have a king pin that is as close to vertical as i have seen, they focus all forward impact on the pin rather than on the bushings.
I Should have looked beyond the pricetag
