    Default Insane Gullwings

The other day I walk in to a surf-shop in the back are a stack of Sector 9s. After Checking them out and blatantly breaking the "Do not stand on board rule", I notice that some of the boards have gulling trucks that appear to be doubled up. They have a base-plate with another base-plate (without an area for screw holes) on that, thus they have two sets of bushings. they had great turning capability but when I searched around for them I could not find them.
Does anyone know what I am talking about? and if so please tell me where I can get some.
    Thank you

most boobs are good in their own way.

tight trucks are like little boobs, which are fine if youre into them, but too small of boob and you end up with non turning trucks, loose trucks save lives thing.

loose trucks are like big boobs, great as long as you have enough rebound in your bushing/firmness in the boob.

and trucks with worn out broken down bushings are like grandma boobs/fried eggs hangin on a nail situation which is never good.

I have a set of M1's that I can't seem to find anything wrong with. The stock bushings are total crap but other than that they are pretty solid trucks. They turn on a dime.
Why must we stay where we don't belong?

oldskool, (btw, if you are 13, how are you oldskool?)

how much time have you spent on sidewinders?

I bought a used set off NCDSA
been riding them the last couple of month.
I love them for flat and mellow hills.
    they are super carvy,
I have gone fast on them,
but they feel sketchy (but way better than my exkate)
I got it setup on a arbor fish deck (redrill for a shorter wb, @26")
    and gumballs.

To me they are the best deep carving trucks I tried.
I own a set of exkate, and like these much better.
Personally, I don't like trucks with a solid pivot axis, the turns 'hook' too much.

It's too bad these trucks aren't available separately.
cause IMO they are definitely worth getting.

Really? Because i'm gonna get a Bambino and I need to know what trucks. And my skateshop has those for a good price. Can they quickly turn out of the way of a pedestrian?

Bennet 4.3s or 5.0s would suit you better for a bambino. sidwinders will be too tall

Sideys are interesting but I keep finding things I don't like about them. They are way high, on some decks ruin the possibility of doing some nose/tail tricks, have short kingpins which makes it difficult to experiment with bushing conbos.

However they are really fun to carve and can turn super sharp if you keep them loose, and let you lean into turns.

they're sketchy if you try to take them up to speed, duh. I don't know what you mean about the "poorly made" bit... mine are just fine, I haven't found anything wrong with them yet. They're made for tight, quick carving, not bombing or sliding. (although I hear standups aren't bad on them)

And everyone who says they're too high, grow up... get some exercise and build up your leg muscles. Pansies.
