I just run the cups all around. I know when I had flats all on my JimZ they felt deader than usual, and they're usually dead, so I assumed the same with these. They definitely have a lot of rebound. First time I took them to like 25-30 it felt a lot different than the JimZ just because of the rebound, they felt bouncy. After you ride them a bit, break them in a bit, the feel really smooth and stable

I've been noticing that, too. And they're nice little cup washers--more precise profile in section than many. Apologies for hasty flat-washer hive-think way upthread....

i agree, i'm waiting for stims. Barrels generally don't do it for me, so i'll stick with my Karrots for now until Zak brings out the stims.
as for carving set-ups, i'm waiting on some 85a barrels to stick in my dervish. gonna be awesome.

Barrels are good and with cupped washers I can get them to behave but I got spoiled on Zaks hand poured Stims and Karrots Reflex Stims. Part of the reason I like Fastracks is the huge bushings feel so nice to me. I have a pretty large collection of stim shapped bushings from various people that I will use in addition to Zaks barrels

85a standard pack sounds right to me.

I weigh 157 and just broke in my 85a venoms. It's a carver/pumper/commuter setup. Double cones in front, double barrels in back. Old RII 150's. Felt like bones cones w/ a lot more
squish, better lean and rebound. Just incredible. I will switch out a couple of them for 90a's
    eventually. Very nice.

Ahhhh... got my first Venom bushings to play with today. Mixed them with some clear red randal cones in my R2s on my Spliff. I got the 85a cones (super carve). Magic. I really love it; the rebound is a lot better than the Khiros I had in it. Big thumbs up from another happy Venom user. I anxiously await the others I ordered for my other boards, lol.

EDIT: for reference with those 85a cones. I weigh 200 lbs and like my trucks loose.

So... I bought two packs of super carve, one 85a, one 81a. Was this a bad idea?

Also, I ordered two 78a in standard.

I've just decided these barrells rule. The most versatile bushings I've ever tried in a longboard.

Nope, just put soft in front, harder in back. You're fine. 78a might be a bit soft. How much do you weigh?

All greens in Avenger with kahas had a mix result; I tied them down do where they felt stable but once I tried to lean I felt like I was going to fall off the board. Then I loose them up but they where to carvy for high speed, the board wanted to dart from under me.

I also order some 90a but I left them, when I got home I change the top front bushing for a 90a I believe this will solve the problem. Zack I think I was mistaken about you’re bushings been to soft for big guys. Hopefully the red on top will do the trick for me, because since I had the Kahas, I have not had a good combo of bushing on them till know. Even tho Venom’s are some what taller than Khiro barrels they fit the kahas very good. THX!!! for a great product, is the Colorado gang coming to the Texas sizzler next year.
