i bought several venom bushings now but can only use 2 or 3 or them
i bought some 85a because that is what i run now im my DH board, i put them in and they felt way to soft, 3 of them checked out under 78a
the 90a came out to around 85a and had tons of air bubbles so i gave them to a friend
the few bushings that match and looked like they were poured well are awesome bushings though, i wish i could get more like them. but i dont see the point of spending all the money and getting a kind of "grab bag" of bushings.
hopefully they will get better as the company grows and makes more pours, i cant wait to ride some nice venoms
Anyone DH with 85a barrels all around, or would you have to be super light and have awesome balance for this to work out?? Cause im like 125-130 and idk if i can get my hands on 90a's at the moment so i was debating this issue.
Im 140lbs, and DH with 85a bushings, not hard at all, the rebound is awesome
i have a cheap handhead duro from harbor freight that is pretty accurate when compared to "reliable" bushings
after the low number on the duro i was shocked so called a friend who owns a plastics machine shop. he has a shore "A" digital duro, im not sure of the brand
I got several sets of Venoms from Joey at Paris (Green, Yellow and Pinks, 2 Standard sets of each) in addition to 'pink' standards that came on my new Paris trucks. So far the Pink double barrels (DH set) feel awesome(I weigh 210 lbs btw). It took my Red Khiro barrels 2 months to break in enough to feel near this good and by then they lost a lot of rebound. The Venoms feel very 'deep' and more consistent through the turn with noticeably more rebound. They fill the bushing seats very well on the Paris. I'm no pro or have I had experience with anything but Khiros but I've been through a lot of Khiros. I like Venoms much better. The only air bubbles I've seen are in the Greens.
hey, I was wondering how venoms tend to feel hardness wise compared to khiros. I wanted to get some for christmas for my Dseed for both carving and DH, and I was thinking standard 85a pack for carving, and either double barrel 85a or an 85a - 90a combo of barrels. I weigh about 155-160 and use blue khiros right now. What I need to know is if venoms have a noticable difference in their hardness based on khiros of the same duro, because I have heard very mixed reviews of them.

90a Venoms are compareable to blue Khiros in softness, 93a Venoms compareable to red Khiros.
tiny bubbles
some of the venoms i received had tiny bubbles, nothing bad.i think these bushing are super good.
old board set up with doh doh, took out the bushings and cut them open;one of them had a huge bubble kinda like a big empty air pocket.
where are the venom stim shaped already?
Yes, please, Mr. M. That would be really fun to play with.

Is venom going to start producing stim and that hourglass stim shape that they made when they were hand poured? This might of already been discussed but I don't want to read through 31 pages to find out.

im stoked on this... especialy if there are more durros available, and cheaper than jimz's . wouldnt it be rad if zak got a deal with randal for these to be standard as a dh package on the 180s and 42 trucks.
