it feels like different urethane to me , its much bouncier and slippery ,

so much so that I actually ended up taking the top & bottom end of mine and slightly sanding them so they would have a rough surface and not slip around on the washers

when I first put them in the top bushing was sliding a good centimeter to the left and right when the trucks turn

What type of skating is a stim shape meant for? Or does it just do it all

Stims are nice for Slalom and for DH....I use Stim shapes in my 215's on my Supercharger for a soft deep urethane feel

    Hey.

I just got a set of the 81a supercarvers, and they're super smooth and carvey with lots of lean; almost too much so for hill bombing and such... I'm suprised how easy they are to deform with my fingers. Should I go for 85a or 90a if I still want a lot of lean but more resistance? I weigh 160 btw.

Yeah, 81a is a bit too soft for your weight.

    I second all that.

About to take my first ride on them--90a (red) all around in indy's on a superglider. I'll report back, if I'm not too cold to notice anything....

Ok. Back home. Did as much skating as possible before the winds got too strong.
Loaded up the car with 10 boards, and went at it with the Eliminators.
These are the only ones I had time to put them in, though.

    313/Maguns:
Before: 90a Venom barrels front; 90a/93a Venom barrels in back
Now: 90a Elims up front; back same
Noticed a nice even resistance all the way through compared to the barrels. The lean is still there, though!!! Oh snap!

    Fullbag JITT/GoG&Rad:
    Before: 78a hand-poured Venoms front; 90a Rad/85a hand-poured Venom Rad
    Now: front same/93a Elims back
These are ridiculous for a back slalom truck. They allow the truck to lean to the point of insanity but still provide a nice bounce-back. I'm not going back.

    Dervish/Paris:
    Before: Randal stock yellows
Now: 85a Venom barrels/85a Elims front and back

    Evo/Crails:
Before: 85a Venom barrels/black JimZ tops front and back
Now: 78a/81a Elims front and back
I love nigh-sloppy loose trucks on my Evo, and these allow me to actually crank down the axle nut while still having the response I want. Again, I thought the lean would go away with the stim shape, but it's still there. Just even MORE rebound!

Overall impression: I gots to get MOAR!!!!
I'll input more as I get more days to ride on em and play with the setups more.

    Well I like 90a Supercarves, 81a and 85a combo standards, 78a and 81a barrels and 81a stims.

    On my FullBag JITT

In front I have white Bitches on my GOG.
In the rear I will be putting a barrel Venom 93a on top (Splitfire..soon to be Virage)and 93a Elimator. I will test that to see how it feels. (rear plate is a 28 degree Randal)

    On my FullBag Hybrid

I have a Splitfire Pro with a white Bitch Top and Venom barrel at 78a. Rear Splitfire I have a Venom "proto" shape at 93a and I will be placing another barrel Venom at 93a on top. (rear plate is also a 28 degree Randal)

I had the same ideas as Jaxx in regards that the Venom 93a Elimator and barrels would be sublime in the rear for my slalom boards.

We have light snow on the ground today, hopefully throwing cones tomorrow morning.

sorry that was a typo. I had a 93a Venom barrel and 85a Rad-shaped Venom in back originally
i did some early morning slalom today(so as not to get the cops called on me again for skating in the school parking lot...), and Iike the new setup even more. I'm a newb, but the difference is noticeable.

Sorry for asking this but I am wondering if there are any specific trucks where Eliminators wont fit? My feeling is that they will fit in any conventional truck that will take the barrels...

So will they fit in Paris, Randal RIIs, and Holeys where the bottom barrel should go?
I'm thinking that the shape is just a more 'stable' one which might not slipe as much.

    Thanks for the help!
