i have a question, what duro should i get i weight 120-130, i want a stable at speed, and carves when needed, im planning to put it on a bear 852 trucks (landyachtz battle axe), i want to know which one i should get, whether venom super carves or venom standard pack?

I was running 79a double cones Khiros in my 215 Indy hybrids for a super carvy setup. I switched them out with a set of Venom 81a cones thinking it would be a similar feel but with that nice Venom feel.

I was surprised to find that the Venoms (even though at a slightly harder duro) made the trucks way more divey. In my experience I can go lighter in duro on my Indy's vs. Randals and still be a comfortable ride for my 180 lbs.

After about 10 mins of riding the Venoms on the board side bushing started to bulge and lose it's cone form, that's when I realized that I need to go harder in a Venom duro for this setup.

I suppose I'll just throw in the Khiro's until I can get some suitable duro Venoms. Has anyone else had experience with Venoms being soft for the rated duro?

a combo I like (very close to your weight) that I find very stable but still super turny is 85/81 double barrel rear with 85standard up front.

I'm hearing Indy compatible but it's not making any sense to me, what makes them different and where can I buy them? haha

It's a small cone/barrel combo that will fit stock Indy's, so you can still get the Venom experience without changing KP length or swapping out baseplates.

    Longboardskater.com has them.

the newer bears feel slightly more restrictive to me than paris, but both are great. Fit Venoms no prob. You can flip bears for a more "DH feel" where as flipping paris just makes them sit a little lower. both good all around trucks.

it's a general term for how easy it is to lean a board to the side on w/e trucks you are talking about. Some trucks (like holeys) are very restrictive because they have very deep bushing seats. Others (like randals) have very shallow seats and therefore are not as restrictive. If you have the same bushings with the same washers tightened the same amount in a set of randals and a set of holeys, the randals will be easier to lean/turn.

i'm about to make a bushing order to give my self some setup options on my Dropspeed as well as my voodoo doll, i weigh about 220-230. the dropspped is setup with bear's and the doll with randals. I'm pretty inexperienced with bushings so not really too sure, exactly what to get. From what i've gathered from a little experimenting is i do like venoms. i'm looking for a loose freeride bushing setup for my dropspeed (elimator/barrel maybe?) as well as a DH setup and fun freeride setup for the doll. not really sure of the duros or shapes. On the doll i was getting bad wheelbite, with the stock randal bushing as well as some soft khiro's i had lying around. Any help would be great.

Paris (to me) are more similar to randals than bears. Very close feeling between the two. Some people say paris carve a little more and randals feel a little more stable, but reall going with new bears, paris, or randals you can't go wrong.
