i stuff untrimmed radikal and stims into my dh and 150/180 hangers. The softer ones conform to the shape of the bushing seat anyway. Im too lazt to trim bushings...althought its prolly a good idea.

I 'trimmed' mine, meaning I added a little step to them. I used a dremel and it took about 2 minutes a bushing in the middle duros.

I saw that you asked geezer x about his monkey rubbers, but he didn't
answer your question about the step.

I'm thinking a urethane bushing is still better than rubber, but I'd like
to try them just to be sure.

I did ask him, and he sorta answered. I want to try them just because they are supposed to lean like no other.

I put in some grade-8 king pins this morning and decided to toss the yellow randal bushings and washer cups since I read here they cut the bushings. I put in indy red bushings, with flat washers and they feel pretty good. Maybe a bit too loose for serious bombing but I'm not going to be doing that on this Comet deck anyway (that's what the kebbek is for).

BTW, Milehigh Mark's prices on the grade-8 hardware are quite good. My local Ace Harware charges $1.11 for the 3" and Milehigh's price is $.95. I got the giant nylock stop nuts as well which are 75cents a piece. So if you're ordering some stuff from milehigh, get some bolts as well - you won't find them cheaper locally and besides, it's nice to support our skate vendors (sorry, I didn't do so this time Mark but I felt paying shipping for just those would have been silly).
