    Default Highway Fox Trucks

I just got my first longboard yesterday. It rocks. The trucks on it are Highway Fox 176's, but they feel pretty loose, and I'm sure theyve gotten looser in the short time if been riding it. The bushings dont seem that rubbery. Would it hurt to tighten them down some? How far can I go? and does anyone else have experience with these trucks?
    Cheers

As far as you like them...

Bushings sometimes take a while to break them in....

tighten them so that they turn as much or as little as you want for how sharp or how much you want to turn and over time youll probably want some better trucks or just a set of better bushings until you get better trucks. Post the rest of your set up and also maybe a pic of it too cuz ive never heard of these trucks before

I'll post some pics tonight. The only reference to the trucks I could find on the net, was the email address of the factory that makes them, and some post on a newsgroup 3 years ago from a guy complaining his bushings were all sloppy. So yea, I hardly think there good quality trucks, but there still f*cking fun

Here's some pics, sorry about the fuzzyness, my camera is completely f*cked.
I reckon I'm gonna get me some masking tape and some spray paint and put a blue racing stripe on the underside.. It's a little bit plain at the moment.

i really like the shape of that board and those trucks do look a lot like indys but they should suffice for the time being so ride it like hell and i hope you dont have to ride on that rough ass pavement you took those pictures on cuz thatd be a hell of a ride

Hey nice deck there pal. Pretty snappy shape.

You did a good job on the stripes.

What kind of wheels do you have there - they almost look like rubber wheels.

I assume they're rubber wheels. What are most longboard wheels made of if not rubber?

a even mix of clay and metal. Sometimes they use aluminum.

    almost always urethane
