    Default Randals at Mile High

Alrighty, lets say I was going to make an order at Mile High Skates and buy some R-II's. What bushings and accessories would you get and why? I want the trucks to be good for carving around the campus with the very occasional parking structure bombing run.

new 2.5 inch grade 8 kingpin, tracker stim blues and bottom(may differ upon weight of rider) and red indies on top, i found these to be a nice setup. and about the kingpin, randal stock kingpins have been known to snap for a nasty crash and also the head on the bottom of the kingpin strips out easily due to the lack of surface area

for campus crousing i would get the 150s, but for the parkingstructure i would get the 180s, so it all depends on what seems more important to you. and as far as bushings....what he said up above this post is a good idea.

First, our server is down. Apologies for the inconvenience. It's being worked on as I type this.

Second, if you're thinking about ordering trucks, wait until Nov 1st. And for anyone thinking of ordering a deck, you might want to wait until then, too.

If Mile High Skates can stock Radikal bushings by then, you should definately get a variety pack. If not, then just go with the stims and indys.

I love my Seismics but really want to try some R-IIs because everyone on this forum is in love with them. With my seismics set up the way they are, I can comfortably bomb the hell out of the parking structures around campus and have an enjoyable time carving/slaloming through the crowds in the south oval of my campus.

So what I've gathered so far is a 2.5" grade 8 kingpin and the blue stims for the bottom bushing. If I understand correctly, the blue stim is hard, green medium, and yellow soft?

Mile High Mark, given your current stock and my wants, what would you suggest? (oh btw, very cool that you post on Silverfish)

I like 150's, but we're out of them temporarily (more are expected next week).

For bushings, SuperCush, HardCores, or Hourglass.

    Insider trading.

Mark, have I told you how much I love you today?

By the by, expect an order in December. I have found a few people keen to make a big order together.

if your getting stims difinitly go with a 2.75 inch kingpin. especially if you use a red indy bottom on the top. i have 3" kingpings on mine with a green stim on the bottom and a red indy bottom on the top. its too bad you cant get stims anymroe. or you could just put on a set of red indy bushings and it would be a bit more turny.

yea, red indies on top and bottom are pretty nice, but if you want no wobbles or are bad at reducing them, get some sort of barrel bottom bushing
